Sticky Faith Reading Group

NCPC Family Ministries is excited to announce an opportunity for Fellowship and Learning designed for NCPC Families that will begin this Fall. The NCPC Family Ministries Team has designed this new opportunity in hopes of creating some regular fellowship experiences as well as providing a strong curriculum to guide parents and families as they seek to grow and root their families in faith in Jesus Christ.

Family Ministries is providing a free copy of the “Sticky Faith” book for all parents that want to participate, and we invite you to pick up your copy in the Nursery, at the Children’s Ministry Sign in Kiosk, or in the church office. The books will be available beginning Sunday, September 15th, and will remain available through the fall…feel free to grab your copy anytime! We have created an easy reading schedule (below) that is broken up into three sessions; a fall session, a winter session and a spring session. Each reading session is easily just 2 or 3 chapters over the course of several weeks; you do the reading at your own pace and timing. At the conclusion of each session, NCPC Family Ministries will host a Saturday evening event for the whole family. We will gather for dinner and fellowship, with time for the kids to separate for an activity while parents break out for discussion of the “Sticky Faith” chapters. Nursery will also be provided for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

Saturday, November 16th (5:30-8pm) – Read chapters 1-3
Saturday, March 1st, 2025 (5:30-8pm) – Read Chapters 4-6
Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 (5:30-8pm) - Read Chapters 7-8

Advent Family Service Project

In November, Family Ministries will be sponsoring a Supply Drive to gather the needed items for Care Packages for the Homeless. The Supply Drive will run for the month of November with all supplies due on Sunday, December 1st.

We need the following items in abundance! You don’t need to sign up or do anything online! You can just shop for the following items and donate as many as you are able. (We are hoping to collect 100 of each item)

  • TRAVEL Size (2 oz.) Hand Sanitizer bottles
  • Chapstick Tubes (any brand)
  • Packs of Breath Mints, Cough Drops or Chewing Gum

ALL donated items can be dropped off in the baskets on the Welcome Desk during the month of November. Then, join us in the worship service on Sunday, December 15th, to pick up your care package(s) that you can then share with those in need that you encounter during the Christmas season.
