In January and February, we return to our consideration of the Corinthian letters of the New Testament. Paul’s second letter to the Corinthian church is notable for his humble honesty about life’s limitations, at one famous point comparing ourselves to fragile clay jars. Yet Paul is convinced that it is amid our greatest need that Jesus’ power is present in our lives to bring transformation. We’ll explore what it means that God gives us sufficient strength in Christ and seek to notice and welcome it into our daily lives.
